How do I get you to do a tile job in Lubbock, Texas. It’s a full bathroom tile, all surfaces , heated floor. One thing I do have done is the linear drain installed with the floor sloped and completed also . A detail that I want is around the shower head which is centered in the middle of the ceiling flush mounted, is a semi dome ceiling tiled out of one inch mother of pearl tile. There’s more details but if you could at least let me know if you would be interested. Thanks

Had a contractor come to my house bragging he does shit right the first time. Then after my deck was built the spindles were falling out the stair railing. His fix was a whole tube of damn wood putty!!Wtf! All these contractors and trades people cut corners, literally and figuratively. If it isn't theirs they don't care. Want it done right? Kick that cat out your house and learn to do it yourself. Anybody with ability to read and all their appendages can do as good as this dude.

Hey Sal I made the mistake of using a non modified thinset on some of my porcelain tile on cement board. Is it certain to fail?

Amazing! Can’t even begin to fathom what that shower cost but the workmanship you get what you pay for … only issue I have is I know it’s plaster but no tile for ceiling?

The grout joints will not be perfect if the tilse has variance in size, which is common in natural stone tile. The lippage issue is inexcusable though, and the grout looks messy. All in all, Ive seen much worse, so not sure it is worth ripping it all out.

A few contractors care (including Sal), most don’t care. Their onto the next job bragging about their speed.

I ordered a schluter shelf and it showed up with 3/32” tabs. They wont fit into my 1/16” joints. Should I grind the tabs or is there a 1/16” option? Last minute customer idea😂😂

All this bitching from a guy that didnt run the backsplash tile to the end of the counter top to match. Idgaf if its polished if the two dont meet its trash.

Hi Sal, do you recommend using a sealer for grout on a floor like the one outside the shower? Seems like most grouts say they don't need to be sealed but seems like might be a good idea. Thanks, Tom
